Updated Guidance for Schools and Daily Health Checklist

Please see attached updated Guidance for Schools (K-12) and School Buses.

The Government of Alberta has highlighted the areas in yellow where changes have been made or recommended.

With respect to sports and extracurricular activities, the attached guidance document says, ‘It is recommended that school authorities limit extracurricular sport tournaments and inter-school games at this time, to reduce potential exposures to COVID-19’. At this time, after school extracurricular team practices and league games will continue as scheduled, however, St. Paul Education schools will not attend tournaments for the remainder of January. All other school based health measures and protocols will remain status quo at this time.

Government issued masks and rapid tests will be distributed to students and staff once they arrive. Please note, students and staff can continue to wear masks they are presently using. There is no requirement to wear government issued masks.
