Literacy Toolkit (LDAA)
This website provides you with some tools to help you teach your children how to read and spell with confidence. It has some "how-to" videos as well as some activities and tools you can use with your child right away. It focuses on word recognition and spelling which are essential for comprehension and reading fluency. Access to the materials are granted for four months from time of payment. Cost is $59
Khan Communication Services
Khan provides live sessions with speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, behavioral and mental health therapists and reading consultants. In addition to these services, if you suspect that your child has a learning disability, they are your first step towards a diagnosis. These services are free of charge and often performed by AHS staff in your community.
Open Parachute (AISCA)
This is an online resource to help you discuss mental health issues with your child. Some of the videos include: Anxiety, Friendship, Growth Mindset, Motivation, Gaining Confidence and Well-Being.
